Junior Chamber International, (JCI) is a worldwide federation of young active citizens aged 18 – 40 who share the belief that in order to create positive change we must take collective action to improve ourselves and the world around us. This is through engaging in activities ranging from community development to international projects. Members demonstrate their social responsibilities and improve themselves through participation, leadership and action.

About JCI UDSM

JCI UDSM: university of Dar es Salaam, Dar es Salaam, Tanzania; JCI-UDSM CHAPTER JCI was first initiated in Tanzania in September 2008 at the University of Dar es Salaam, and it was established under the university rules and regulations governing local students’ organizations. It was registered at the office of the Dean of students and given registration number 069. JCI-UDSM currently has about 100 members including the newly recruited ones, most of them being students of the University of Dar es Salaam. JCI-UDSM lives the JCI mission and slogan; by unveiling different opportunities to its members to enable them bring a positive change to the society. In effecting that, JCI-UDSM has undertaken different training programs to members including Entrepreneurship and project planning training.
